报告摘要:Sampling-type methods offer distinct advantages in inverse scattering: computational efficiency, implementation simplicity, measurement noise robustness, and reduced prior-information dependence. Nevertheless, conventional sampling techniques predominantly serve qualitative purposes, primarily designed for topological feature extraction such as coarse localization and geometric approximation of scatterers. This talk reveals the direct sampling method's quantitative identification capabilities. We rigorously demonstrate that the direct sampling method achieves both geometric characterization of unknown scatterers/sources and quantitative recovery of critical physical parameters—including precise reconstruction of source intensity distributions and identification of material constitutive properties.

刘晓东,中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员、博士生导师。2004年本科毕业于北京师范大学,2010年博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院,2011年至2013年在德国卡鲁理工大学洪堡学者。获得2019年第8届华人数学家大会邀请报告、中科院陈景润未来之星、中国科学院青年创新促进会和国家高层次青年人才、浪潮优秀青年学术奖、中国科学院大学优秀教师等荣誉称号,主持多项国家自然科学基金。研究方向是偏微分方程反问题,主要工作集中在声波和电磁波的逆散射问题、基于波散射的反问题数学理论和算法设计。
